I have DXL code which runs for 5 to 10 mins.In meantime I couldn't do any other operations.
Is it possible to make that script on background. So It doesn't disturb my regular work.
it also contains current Project and current module,so it cann't be run outsite.
Thanks in Advance.

You could put the work in the callback function of a dialogue box. If you make sure that you invoke the dialogue box with 'show' and not with 'block', this allows you to continue to work with the current Module.

but be careful that you store the current project / module at the very beginning of the script in variables and that you must not close the affected modules once the script has started. Perhaps it is better to start a second doors session to continue your work; or start the script with a new doors session in -batch mode and give it the needed module / project as parameters

No; DOORS is not multi-threaded. Start a 2nd DOORS session. You could get tricky and have this DXL cleverly invoke a BATCH script that runs in the background but I don't see an advantage to that.
